Dr. Pfeiffer was born and raised on Long Island. He earned his bachelor of science from The University of Colorado. Before entering medical school, Dr. Pfeiffer worked in medical research in Denver, CO for two years. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with a doctor of medicine in 2001.
Following graduate school, Dr. Pfeiffer returned to New York State where he entered an internship in surgery and residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in The Bronx. His residency was completed in 2005, and he has worked in private practice ever since.
Dedicated to ensuring quality care and maintaining complete education in all the latest medical techniques and technologies, Dr. Pfeiffer earned recognition as a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Additionally, he keeps up with his certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). On top of his general continuing education hours, Dr. Pfeiffer has taken a special interest in pediatric anesthesia, and he has years of experience in this specialty area.
Outside of work, Dr. Pfeiffer is happily married to Jennifer. The couple has lived in Bellingham since 2005, and they have one son. Dr. Pfeiffer’s wife is a native of Bellingham, and they both enjoy living in Washington. The family enjoys the sense of community and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and they all remain active in the area.
