Frequently Asked Questions

Finding the dental care that you need can feel overwhelming sometimes. Once you review the information on our website, you may still have questions for the Moreno and Young Dental team – and that’s perfectly fine! We hope you’ll find the answers on our frequently asked questions page, and if you don’t, please contact us right away. We are always happy to help you make well-informed decisions for your oral health and happiness.

How often do you recommend patients visit Moreno & Young Dental?

The Moreno & Young Dental team recommends patients visit us at least two times each year for a dental checkup and teeth cleaning appointment. These visits give us the opportunity to help patients optimize their oral health, and keep their smiles healthy for a lifetime.

Are kids welcome in your Bellingham dental office?

Our family dentistry office welcomes patients of all ages. That includes kids. Dr. Moreno, Dr. Young, and the whole team love working with young patients, and we have years of experience that allows us to ensure kids are safe and comfortable in our office.

What are All-on-4 dental implants?

All-on-4 is a unique dental implant supported denture system that utilizes the naturally denser portions of smiles rather than using more advanced preparatory treatments like bone grafting. This makes dental implant supported dentures available for more patients than ever before.

Can you help if I get nervous at the dentist?

In addition to offering patients gentle, attentive dentistry services that put them at ease, we are also happy to provide all levels of sedation dentistry. We offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, oral conscious, and IV sedation. With the help of Dr. Peter Pfeiffer, we’re even able to provide safe, effective general anesthesia (sleep dentistry).

Why should I visit the dentist for sleep apnea therapy?

Our dentists have advanced training that gives them a complete understanding of the inner workings of patients’ oral and facial structures. This includes the air way. Additionally, our dentists have completed additional training in oral appliance treatment for patients with sleep apnea. In many cases, we can offer a comfortable, effective alternative for traditional CPAP therapy.

Do you take my insurance?

We are happy to process and file dental insurance claims for most major providers. Our knowledgeable dental team is able to maximize benefits to ensure our patients always receive the care they need within their budget.
